I've loved carousel horses since childhood. It appealed to my imagination, and they are so colorful and often wildly expressive. This series of carousel paintings is an homage to the talented master wood carvers who brought these creatures to life for the delight of children and adults everywhere. He is the lead horse, first row stander from the carousel that last operated at Chapultepec Park in Mexico City.
